Quick labor

Cassie's here!! 2 hours, a lot of pain and a few pushes and she arrived. I'm so blessed to be a new mom again.

Just in case checks

I had some vaginal bleeding today and lots of pelvic pressure so I went in to get checked. Cassie's doing fine, still baking away and the bleeding was just 'normal' bloody show. While it was a hassle going in and doing the whole thing I'm glad i went in just in case. I feel anxious for her to come out but I know I should enjoy these days of the 4 of us. Only a few more of them left before it becomes a hectic family of 5!

Chloe’s drive for school

We rarely have issues motivating Chloe to learn and do her homework. I'm so proud of how much she has learned and how much she knows. She consistently surprises me in the things that she says and what she knows.

Kamon Sushi

I love sushi but Alex doesn't care for it. I'm so happy that he actually likes and requests Kamon Sushi! Hooray!

Chloe & Ryan

My children are amazing. Frustrating at times but I find them amazing. I am so lucky to be their mom and to have Alex by my side to help me raise them. Seeing them grow up as a mixture of him and me but fully themselves is what parenting and motherhood is all about.

I know I am so fortunate to have an amazing and supportive family. I want to express how grateful I am for them and recognize that they are a big part of my life.

Alone time

It's been great being on maternity leave but with everyone at home it's hard to get any alone quiet time.

Marriage

I'm glad I'm married to Alex. He makes me better in so many ways and forces me to think about things differently and encourages me to grow.

Cookies

I've been making cookies for so long that it's super quick and easy. I'm glad I've been able to hone my techniques and that I have all the supplies available.

False alarms

I had consistent contractions that got closer together for almost 4.5 hours this morning. Thankfully they stopped and now we're just chilling. But it was an exciting experience! I think we're definitely ready now.

It's my Lola's 104th birthday today!! She is an amazing, resilient woman who keeps our family strong. I love you so much Lola!
