2 weddings

I was lucky enough to wear my wedding dress twice! Once at our first official wedding and again the following year at our church wedding. I still think about it and how much I loved it. To each their own :)

Grandparents

Today Alex's parents watched Ryan and Lola watched Chloe since Alex went to work. I was able to go to Jeanne's baby shower solo! It was kinda nice :)

Bassinet sleeping!

Ryan has been sleeping between Alex & me for most of the night for the past 2-3 weeks. Last night I was able to feed him and put him back in his bassinet 5 times!!  I was very excited to post about it. 

Free hands!

Alex's parents are here again and it's like I got my hands back! Chloe is playing with them and letting them take her places. Ryan only breast feeds for a few minutes now and they love holding him (and he loves to be held) so it works out! 

Husband!

I'm sick :( my body feels broken and I can't breathe. I'm so so thankful Alex was here to take care of me. I was able to rest and recouperate.

Early days

Alex had a work meeting today and I thought it was going to end at 5 but he came home at 2! Score!!!

Bottles

Ryan successfully drank milk from the bottle today! His first time and both him & Papá survived. Hooray!

Lola's house

I had a dentist appt today and we came to my mom's house afterwards. Ryan fell asleep in the Ergo so I sat down and took a nap also. He slept for 3 hours, woke up and then fell asleep on my shoulder. I put him on the couch and said to myself, I'll leave when he wakes up, since he usually wakes up 10 minutes after you put him down. I was wrong. He's still asleep so we're still in Cerritos at Lola's house!

Preschool

Chloe started preschool 3 days a week so that let's me relax a little and only have to care for Ryan on those three days. Today he took a 3 hour nap and so I was able to nap too!! It was awesome.

Cool breeze & AC

It was pretty hot today but there was a really good cool breeze going on at DCA so we had a great day despite the heat!

Swaddled sleep

So thankful that Ryan fell back asleep after I swaddled him and put him in the bassinet.
