Stylish cousins

My family has been great at lending us small baby/kid clothes so we don't have to spend a $$$ on clothes they'll only wear a few times. The best part is Chloe & Ryan have some stylish cousins so they end up with super cute hand me downs!

4/22: Extra hands

Ryan loves to be held so it's great that Alex's family is here to hold him! It frees me up to do regular things like eat and go to the bathroom. 

Epidural

It's time again!! The contractions weren't as crazy as the first time but I'm still extremely grateful for my epidural. Labor pain is rough stuff!!

4/19: Pampered day

My mom said she'd watch Chloe while I went to get my nails done today which was a nice way to spend the morning. 

Family outing

We were home early today so we went to a 'new' park in Cerritos & had dinner with Lola! It was a simple & fun family outing. 

Warm afternoons

Chloe spent a good 20 minutes playing with a bucket of water today after her afternoon nap. Yes she got the inside of her boots super wet but otherwise she had a blast!

4/16: Outside time

I was unusually tired today so I was very glad when Alex brought Chloe outside so I could take a nap. 

4/15: Being included

I was invited to the 'all providers' meeting today! That's pretty rare so I was happy to be included. 

Full term pregnancy

As of this past Monday our baby boy is 37 weeks! I am so thankful that regardless of when he comes he will be a full term baby. I'm scared of what the future brings but I'm very excited to meet him and hold him and for Chloe to meet him. 

Kobe

I grew up watching the Lakers. I debated between Kobe & Shaq with my family for many years (I choose Shaq!) But tonight after all his hard work and memories I am thankful for everything Kobe has brought to this city and to basketball. Thanks for entertaining me as a Laker fan. 

long walks

I forgot how calming a long leisurely walk can be.  Today I was able to walk longer than my normal 30 minutes so I felt very refreshed for the afternoon.

4/7: Chairs

Retail pharmacy plus pregnant belly = back pain so thankfully I had a chair to sit in most of the day while I helped out at the pharmacy. 

4/8: Target

It was drizzling so instead of the park we went to Target!

Reading books

Chloe has started to read books to herself and it's so adorable! I can hear her saying the words/pictures in the books, counting to herself and turning the pages. It makes me so happy to just sit and watch/listen to her. 

Delicious salad

Alex threw some lettuce seeds into his garden and 'accidentally' grew a whole bunch of butter-romaine lettuce. It's super awesome when I'd like a salad for dinner. Literally some of the freshest salads I'll ever eat in my life. And they're yummy too!!

Cleaning day

Today we cleaned up the house and it felt pretty good! I'm very thankful that Alex was into it also and that he stopped to play with Chloe when she was getting antsy. 

Early morning workout

I've been waking up kind of early recently so the past 2 days I decided to work out since I feel the lightest right when I wake up. Now I don't have to force myself to go walking during my lunch break! Hooray!

3/31: Tag team line holders

I must've been crazy thinking I could wait in line for the Model 3 by myself with Chloe. Good thing my mom offered to wait with us so one of us was able to walk around the mall with her while the other waited in line. Now it's time to wait for the actual car!!
