Yay!! We got to see our baby boy today! I was very excited to see his face and surprised but not surprised to see that he looks just like Chloe.

Simple fixes
Mom's water dispenser in the fridge wasn't working so we went over to Cerritos to try to fix it. We figured out that part of the tube is probably frozen so hopefully that's it! It didn't take too long to figure out but we're still waiting to see if it'll work once it's defrosted.

Soft beds
Chloe didn't want to take a nap but I put her on her bed and she was asleep within minutes! Definitely glad we got the mattress that we did.

1/27: Responsible pharmacies
It's becoming more rare these days that the pharmacy will go out of the way to get the patient her medications or in this case glucometer. I was very impressed when the pharmacist told me she spent an hour on the phone with the insurance to figure out which meter was covered. I truly appreciate her effort and work.
Quick defrost
The fish was still mostly frozen when I got home, oops! Good thing they were thinner filets and defrosted fairly quickly.

Nap time
Maybe I was just tired today but Chloe was being slightly difficult this morning. So I was very relieved when she went down for her nap. Time for me to relax a little.
1/25: Marinated meat
Got home, cooked rice, cooked the meat that had been marinating and played with Chloe while it cooked. Nothing too strenuous or time consuming.

Pregnancy yoga
It helps to have guided stretching every once in a while. I feel like it opens my joints and relaxes the hard to reach muscles.

So you can go to IKEA and buy big items without wondering if it'll fit in your car. Thank goodness my parents have a van!

Chloe
Recently I've been so amazed at how much and how fast she's growing. The rate that she learns things, the things she says, the things she does, they all remind me of how much I love her.

Kid breakfast menu
Chloe's kids breakfast was too much food for her to finish but came with bacon and hashbrowns that Alex & I were more than happy to eat. It ended up costing less than if we had added those 2 items on as side orders.
1/8: Quick appointments
Weight, BP, HR, any questions? No? Ok see you in a few weeks!
That's how my OB appt went today, I was in and out super quick. Baby's doing great, growing, strong heartbeat and still kicking.

1/1: simultaneous naps
I was SO tired yesterday so by the time Chloe took her nap in the afternoon I also crashed. I was able to sleep for an hour I disturbed during our simultaneously nap. I woke up super refreshed.
